Chaliya began her journey in the makeup industry over twenty years ago, exploring every corner of beauty with passion and precision.
Known for her versatility, she studied makeup for five years in the UK, earning multiple Diplomas in Theatrical, SFX, Hair and Media Makeup.
Her studies took her to Australia, where she spent a year at the Academy of Makeup in Brisbane, specialising in Cinemagraphic and Special FX artistry.
She returned home to Dubai and worked for M·A·C Cosmetics in both Dubai and Harrods London, before building her own company Chaliya.com and freelancing for global influencers, celebrities, royal events in Abu Dhabi, movies, music videos, fashion shows and e-commerce campaigns for brands such as Armani and Superdry.
She later opened C.A.M.A the Chaliya Academy of Makeup Artistry, teaching both in person and online.
In 2020, she moved to Marbella, where she continued working with weddings, private clients, photoshoots and events.
But behind her success, Chaliya faced deep personal trauma, severe facial dysmorphia and moments that broke her confidence.
For years, she hid her pain behind perfection, until she reached a turning point, the moment she decided to transform her suffering into strength.
